R.A.W.!

Rising Artists’ Works （R.A.W.!）dedicates to covering the entire chain of artistic creation, providing all-round support to young artists from incubation to market entry, constructing a professional, international, and influential growth-support platform. This edition of R.A.W.! welcomes new art panel members, including Oliver Reese, Artistic Director of Berlin Ensemble, Tan Dun, world-class composer and conductor. In total 21 global art leaders from 7 countries and regions will provide guidance and advisory to young artists.

This year, R.A.W.! received over 226 submissions from 19 countries and regions and will present 6 stage art works, 2 visual art projects and 1 specially featured piece. Additionally, this year’s R.A.W.! will introduce the "fusion" genre for the first time, with groundbreaking works such as Dance Drama The Rite of Spring by CHENG Long, The Floating Life Performance | The Vast Lament 2.0 by CHENG Yuyang, which demonstrate innovative integration of technology and theater art.
