Parallel Sessions & Professional Sessions

Leveraging its platform function of "rooting in the Yangtze River Delta, serving all of China," and giving full play to Shanghai's advantages in the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, the China Shanghai International Arts Festival carefully planned parallel session activities in Wuxi (Jiangsu Province), Nanxun (Zhejiang Province), and Anhui Province. By deeply integrating local cultural resources with the festival's global performing arts resources, these initiatives further promoted the coordinated development of the culture and tourism industries among sister provinces and cities, and built a closer regional cooperation network.

As an important segment showcasing the festival's professionalism and reach, this year's professional performance section continued to host the Shanghai International Puppet Festival and the Shanghai International Magic Festival, while also launching the Shanghai International Digital Music Festival for the first time. Centred around youthfulness and trendiness, the digital music festival led audiences into a new era of digital music, offering a thrilling encounter between technology and art. The three major events complemented each other, jointly presenting the audience with an artistic feast that blended tradition and modernity.
