Celebrated violinist Joshua Bell appears with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, marking his fifteenth year as the orchestra’s Music Director. Performing as both soloist and conductor, Bell presents Dvořák’s Violin Concerto in A minor, which is rich in Bohemian character, followed by Mozart’s Symphony No. 41 in C major, also known as “Jupiter”. Renowned for its interpretations of Mozart and for recording the soundtrack to the film Amadeus, the ensemble joins Bell in a concert combining classical spirit with poetic warmth.
