The Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir (EPCC) is one of the most renowned musical ensembles from Estonia and has been named one of the “World’s 10 Best Choirs” by BBC Music Magazine. The EPCC was founded in 1981 by Tõnu Kaljuste, who served as its artistic director and chief conductor for twenty years. The EPCC has won the Grammy Award for Best Choral Performance twice and received a total of 16 Grammy nominations. It has also been honored with other prestigious international awards, including the Gramophone Award and the Diapason d'Or. The EPCC has collaborated with leading conductors including Claudio Abbado, Helmuth Rilling, and Sir Simon Rattle, and has performed with world-class orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, and the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra.
