Christian Thielemann and Wiener Philharmoniker

Maestro Christian Tielemann has enjoyed a close partnership with the Wiener Philharmoniker for over 25 years. During this period, he has twice conducted the Wiener New Year’s Concert, led numerous international tours with the orchestra, and recorded several acclaimed albums, including the complete symphonies of Bruckner. In 2024, he was named an Honorary Member of the Wiener Philharmoniker. As a distinguished interpreter of the German-Austrian repertoire, Maestro Thielemann will lead the orchestra in a programme featuring the radiant “golden sound” for which it is renowned, bringing to life masterworks by Schumann, Brahms, and Bruckner.
