Renee FLEMING

Renee FLEMING is an American soprano and one of the most celebrated opera singers on the international stage today. A five-time Grammy Award winner, she received the Kennedy Center Honor in 2023; her distinguished career has also earned her the National Medal of Arts, the German Order of Merit, and France's Chevalier of the Legion of Honor, among other cultural accolades. She has performed at such major global events as the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony and the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. In 2008, she became the first female artist to perform a solo on the Opening Night Gala of the Metropolitan Opera in its 125-year history—a testament to her extraordinary artistic stature and enduring influence.
