Juliet and Romeo is an adaptation of Shakespeare's classic work Romeo and Juliet, which tells a different story where the two lovers don't die due to mutual misunderstandings but continue to live together and face the challenges of middle age. After reaching their forties, they find themselves in a midlife crisis and are burdened by the pressure of being seen as the "model couple" by society. While seeking marriage counseling, they decide to overcome their current obstacles through creative endeavors. However, their psychotherapist finds this idea to be quite problematic. The dance troupe takes a fresh interpretation of Shakespeare's classic, exploring the imaginations of teenagers about love and unrealistic expectations in marital relationships. This duet takes on our cultural obsession with youth and our inevitable issues with longevity.
