Since its official establishment in 2017, the Network of Silk Road Arts Festivals has held four annual conferences, with the aim of building a platform for its members to exchange information, leverage complementary strengths, and share resources, thereby creating more opportunities for the Network's sustainable development. The 5th Annual Conference invited representatives from domestic and international member institutions of the Network to share their achievements and progress over the past year. On the theme of "Art Empowerment—Innovating Cultural Tourism Opportunities", the conference focused on the development of cultural consumption and the arts industry chain in the countries and cities where Network members are based. It explored new trends and advancements in the deep integration of culture, arts, and cultural tourism consumption, while also discussing innovative approaches to resource integration in the cultural industry chain to boost urban economic and cultural development. In addition, specially curated pitching sessions for Network members were innovatively organized to actively build a shared resource platform for project cooperation and promotion, supporting the synergistic development of arts and cultural tourism in broader and deeper dimensions.
