With a long history, Guangdong Lion Dance is a traditional folk art integrating dance, martial arts, music and acrobatics. Guangzhou South China Lion Dance Art Group was founded in 1994 by the fifth-generation heir of the "Zhao Heritage Atelier" ZHAO Weibin and has been honored as the national intangible cultural heritage. As a "cultural ambassador" in exchange, the troupe appeared on many prestigious global stages and won over 100 awards.
