As the number one jazz event in China and the second largest in Asia, the JZ Festival is centred around jazz while embracing a rich blend of genres including Latin, fusion, pop, rock, electronic, and hip-hop, fully embodying the expansive, inclusive, and free-spirited nature of jazz. The 21st JZ Festival took centre stage on Qianjiatan Road in the Qiantan area of Pudong, Shanghai, linking five key locations in the Qiantan area: the BOCOM New Bund 31 Performing Arts Centre, Taikoo Li Qiantan, The Crystal Plaza, New Bund Red Lane, and East Bund Riverside. Through a combination of grand theatres and outdoor stages, the festival brought together jazz talents from home and abroad, delivering an exhilarating jazz celebration for the audience.
