As the public project of ARTRA, the 2025 Global Talk will explore the theme of “Visual, Performance and Festival Arts”, initiating a forward-looking, in-depth dialogue and intellectual exchange on innovative, open, and inclusive art festivals and artistic creation.
Since its inception in 2023, “making art a truly open spiritual container” has been one of the core principles of ARTRA. 2025 Global Talk aims to serve as a bridge connecting pioneers in the domestic and international art and creative industries, using global experiences to enlighten local practices. The talk will be hosted by art scholar GU Ling and will feature four key topics: the interplay of local identity and global discourse, the role of technology and interdisciplinary collaboration in redefining festival models, the mutual infiltration between visual arts and performing arts, and the relationship between individual artists and festival platforms.
The event is free of charge and is exclusively open for invited guests and media professionals.
