Renée Fleming: Voice of Nature

Renée Fleming is one of the most celebrated sopranos of our time. In 2013, she was awarded the National Medal of Arts by President Obama and won her fourth Grammy for Best Classical Vocal Solo. A frequent performer at prestigious global events—including the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony and the Diamond Jubilee Concert for Queen Elizabeth II—she also earned a Tony Award nomination for her role in the 2018 Broadway revival of Carousel. Fleming has dedicated herself to expanding the reach of classical music and opera, collaborating not only with legends like Plácido Domingo and Andrea Bocelli, but also with pop icons such as Elton John, Sting, and Joan Baez. Her numerous honors include the Fulbright Lifetime Achievement Medal, the German Cross of Merit, and France’s Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur.
