Handel Rinaldo by The English Concert

The English Concert is internationally renowned for its world-class performance standards, ambitious artistic vision, and diverse repertoire. Founded in 1972 by Trevor Pinnock, the ensemble is now led by Artistic Director Harry Bicket and Principal Guest Artist Kristian Bezuidenhout, whose precise and nuanced interpretations burst with dynamic energy. The ensemble regularly embarks on international tours and performs at prestigious venues such as London’s Wigmore Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields, and the Barbican Centre. It also holds a residency at the Garsington Opera Festival. This performance features a stellar cast, including the countertenor Aryeh Nussbaum Cohen, who has been praised by The Guardian, British soprano Mary Bevan, countertenor Alexander Chance, mezzo-soprano Rachel Wilson, and Chinese countertenor Liu Shen, among seven top-tier vocalists. Together, they will bring to life the timeless brilliance of this classic opera in celebration of the 340th anniversary of Handel’s birth.
