Tech & Wit: The 18th Shanghai Youth Art Exhibition

The year 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Liu Haisu Art Museum. Concurrently, the Shanghai Youth Art Exhibition, renowned as the "cradle of artists", proudly presents its 18th edition. Centred on the theme "Tech & Wit", this year's exhibition directly confronts the transformative changes brought about by the technological revolution of artificial intelligence. It encourages young artists to exert creative thinking and innovative expression in the era of AI, explore the creativity, imagination and adaptability of art, and delve into the possibilities of future art. In terms of curation, the exhibition also pioneer the initiative of "letting the youth organise the youth art exhibition". A core team of more than ten young curators will take the lead in determining the curatorial direction and practicing it, truly entrusting the platform to young people and stimulating their endogenous creativity.
