Original play Spirit of Trees is inspired by the HUANG Zhenfang family’s lumberyard in Zhouning County, Ningde City. It integrates Eastern Fujian’s ecological culture, Red culture, She ethnic culture, to vividly portraying the touching story of three generations of a family who have dedicated over 40 years to protecting the green mountains and rivers and implementing Chairman XI Jinping’s important idea of “green mountains and clear waters are priceless treasures”. This play is co-produced by Publicity Department of the Ningde Municipal Party Committee, Ningde Department of Culture and Tourism, Zhouning County Committee, County Government, Fujian Vocational College of Art, Shanghai Theatre Academy, and Tongji University.
