Six artists were invited to Guizhou to experience theintangible cultural heritage of the Dong ethnic group, local opera, ancient songsand silver jewelry of the Miao ethnic group, anti-row wooden drum dance, handfulof taijis, and horsetail embroidery, etc. The project draws its inspiration fromtradition and tries to open up a dialogue between the past and the future, andcollides with brand-new creations in cross-border, cross-cultural, cross-disciplinary,cross-temporal collaborations. Taking advantage of the momentum of time, notonly does the history converge into the future, but more importantly, throughthe encounter between the future and the past in this place, we interpret andreflect on the sustainability of human beings themselves, their identity, and thesignificance of culture and ecology in the present through interactive art.
