This exhibition will showcase approximately 160 works of traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking, calligraphy, and more, created by artists from the Shanxi Academy of Painting, watercolour，calligraphy, and more, created by artists from the Shanxi Painting Academy and the Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy. It aims to present the innovative explorations of artistic forms, languages, and meanings by artists from both regions in the context of the new era, highlighting regional characteristics and open perspectives. The exhibition also serves as a platform for in-depth dialogue and interaction between the two regions on academic and artistic levels. This event marks an exchange and collision of creative expressions between the Shanxi and Shanghai regions. It also marks a promising beginning for cultural and artistic cooperation between the two areas while serving as a two-way conduit to enhance cultural influence in both regions.
