BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF : Contemporary theatre piece What Brought Us Here is constructed through memories of the non-professional performers who have been living in Dali for a long time, and is presented by the participants concerned. After a certain period of local observation, the piece start from "why we came to Dali", and reflects the cultural spirits and emotional aspirations of Chinese people which Dali carries, through open and diverse theatre language and experimental aesthetic, and presents the current situation of contemporary Chinese society in the midst of dramatic changes.
