Large-scale All-star Symphonic Drama "A Dream of Red Mansions" The voluminous classic "A Dream of Red Mansions" has been adapted in many artistic forms including opera, dance, etc., since the founding of the PRC, yet it is the first time to have its plots rendered in drama now.

The all-star symphonic drama is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of China's drama, with its eye-catching creating panel including playwright Yu Rongjun, director Chen Xinyi, musician Hu Yanbing, stylist Mao Geping, dancer/choreographer Huang Doudou plus a galaxy of stars from domestic performing arts scene.

The Hongkou Soccer Stadium will be turned into a decorated traditional Chinese garden Da Guan Yuan by using modern means of expression such as techniques of lighting, fireworks and projectors.

The rich and varied characters, gorgeous costumes, scenes of family events and the wax and wane of the four great families of Jia, Shi, Wang and Xue during the late period of the Qing Dynasty described in the novel are vividly presented through the joint efforts of nearly 20 Chinese performing stars, over 500 dancers and 200 fashion models on a spectacular scale.
