Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela is one of the most active youth orchestras in the world today, known for its exceptional musical skills and youthful energy chestra was founded by the renowned Venezuelan conductor and music educator Jose Antonio Abreu and is named after the Venezuelan national hero, Simon Bolivar. The orchestra consists of musicians between the ages of 12 and 26. Under the direction of young maestro Gustavo Dudamel, the orchestra has toured various countries and performed at prestigious venues such as the Berlin Philharmonie Hall, Philharmonie Essen, Rome Music Park, Palermo Teatro Massimo, Lucerne Easter Music Festival, and many others, delivering outstanding performances.
