The play is based on famous drama "Tai Zhen Wai Zhuan" of Lanfang Mei, retaining some of its classic arias and re-paraphrases the love story of Emperor Tang and Lady Yang. The main arias Pear Blossom is popular in China and spreads overseas. This new edition improves the script, featuers a strong performer cast and takes a new look for stage design.
