Cantonese Opera Pavilion of a Hundred Flowers is a repertoire compiled by Tang Disheng for the Lisheng Troupe in 1958. It is based on the Kunqu Opera Hundred Flowers and Swords. The last Hong Kong Arts Festival commissioned a new Cantonese opera Pavilion of a Hundred Flowers, which was planned and directed by Mao Junhui, a leader in drama. This year, Mao Junhui keep improving, leading a new generation of Cantonese opera elites and senior creative team, breaking through the traditional story writing, performance techniques and stage production, let the domestic audience feel the artistic charm of the new Cantonese opera.
