Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra is hailed as one of the leading classical orchestras in Asia. During the 44-week season, the orchestra performed more than 150 concerts and brought music to more than 200,000 spectators. Jaap Van Zweden is one of the most famous conductors of the international classical music. He has been the music director of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra since the 2012/13 season, at least serve until the summer of 2022. The conductor Yu Long was the chief cantor of the orchestra from the 2015/16 season. In addition, the concert will also perform with the pianist Rachel Cheung.
