The SanDiego Symphony is one of the most prominent performing arts organizations in Southern California. Led by the Music Director JahjaLing, the orchestra performs up to 125 concerts annually featuring the mostinternationally acclaimed guest artists including Lang Lang, Yo-Yo Ma andItzhak Perlman.Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, JahjaLing is the first and only music director of a major symphony orchestra in theUnited States of Chinese descent. Often referred toas the "poet of the violin”, Joshua Bellis one of the world's most celebrated violinists. Joshua Bell now serves as theMusic Director of the Academy of St Martin in theFields.
