In 1981, after Vladimir was appointed as the conductor of British Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, he stood on the international stage of conductors with his works ranging from Beethoven to the works of the 20th century, among which the plays of Rachmaninoff and Sibelius symphonies are extremely brilliant.
