The 10th China Shanghai International Arts Festival and
Performing Arts Fair will be held during the week from October 18th
to 23rd, 2008. We cordially greet both new and old friends from the
international community of performing arts to come to the beautiful city of Shanghai
The China Shanghai International Arts Festival is a grand event
hosted by the Chinese Ministry of Culture and undertaken by the Shanghai municipal
government. The performing arts fair, a major sector of the festival, is the
largest and most effective performing arts market of its kind in China.
Every year, representatives of world famous performing groups, agencies,
companies as well as festivals from dozens of countries will come and gather at
our Fair.
More than 30 countries have registered to attend the 10th
edition of the Shanghai Performing Arts Fair which is featured with rich
contents, distinctive characteristics and many attractions. Please kindly refer
to the following data:
Over 120 exhibition booths providing great amount of information
about performances
Over 50% of the participating organizations coming from abroad
Over 100 live promotional showcases both from China and other countries
Over 200 programmes to be promoted and exchanged
