BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF : Fri|10/19|19:30|60 mins Shanghai Symphony Hall Myths of Creation is a large-scale musical work commissioned by the China Shanghai International Arts Festival. It is composed by Ye Xiaogang, Chairman of the Chinese Musicians Association. It is performed by the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, in cooperation with Shi Yijie, Liao Changyong, Shen Yang, Xu Lei, Zhu Huilin and directed by Yu Long. The whole repertoires include “prelude” and four vocal symphonies. Through the creation myths that Chinese people have known since childhood, we can feel the extremely romantic imagination and outstanding creativity in traditional Chinese culture and the national spirit that Chinese people have been bravely pursuing and realizing.
