BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF : We all sing, from the weather-worn Southern alleys in the South, to the vast plains of the Midwest, to the highlands of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. For thousands of years, we have sung of and for departures, and of our sorrow of missing the departed. We sing at dawn; we sing under the moon. We sing while working hard and while celebrating. We sing like an emperor; we sing when we are children. Wu Shuang, the Kun Opera performer, together with Jia Yangji, Re Gecuo, the two girls from Keba, Tibet will take you on a music journey for thousands of miles over thousands of years, from the Tang & Song dynasties and back to the present.
