Ibsen's Ghosts by Norwegian National Ballet

       Henrik Ibsen, Norway’s most famous playwright. Theatre director Marit Moum Aune together with choreographer Cina Espejord have transformed Ibsen’s play into a narrative performance using then language of contemporary dance. The production was widely acclaimed after its premiere in 2014 and has been performed in several major cities, and makes its Chinese premiere in Shanghai.

      Marit Moum Aune was nominated for best libretto in the prestigious Benois de la Danse, and in Norway Cina Espejord received the Critics’ Award for the choreography. The Norwegian National Ballet is regarded as one of the leading European dance companies. Its broad repertoire embraces classic works created by international masters and also includes numerous new works.
