Artists Inbal Pinto and Avshalom Pollak founded their dance company in 1992. Together they have been involved in a variety of artistic endeavours, mainly including the creation, direction, design and choreographing of unique, award-winning, dance performances for their company of twelve dancer-actors based out of the Suzanne Dellal centre in Tel Aviv. Their work has been widely acclaimed and presented in cities around Israel, and has toured in many countries around the world.
Inbal Pinto (Artistic Director/Choreographer/Director) was born in Israel in 1969, and began her formal dance training at the age of thirteen. In 2000, she won a Bessie - the New York Dance and Performance Award for her creation Wrapped. In the same year, she was given Israel’s Ministry of Culture Award for Dance and the Tel Aviv Municipal Award for her artistic achievements. In 2011, Pinto received Israel's ministry of culture award for the creation of Toros and Rushes Plus.
Avshalom Pollak (Artistic Director/Choreographer/Director) was born in Israel in 1970. He has acted in a large range of films and television programs, and has starred in a variety of plays. Roles have included Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, Cassio in Othello, Valere in The Miser and many others.
