Adapted from Cao Yu's drama "Thunderstorm", the opera "Thunderstorm" tells a tragedy of a woman who searches for love and freedom under the oppression of feudal power. The 4-act drama "Thunderstorm" is adapted into a 2-act opera , allowing the music of the opera to be fully developed. The inner world of the characters is fully expressed in various ensembles boldly created by the composer , while this epoch of tragedy which is as wild as as the thunderstorm is vividly embodied in both choral and symphonic music.
