The Béjart Ballet Lausanne is a world-renowned, first-class modern ballet troupe created by the famous ballet choreographer Maurice Béjart. The work Tous les hommes presque toujours s'imaginent brought by the troupe is choreographed by Béjart's successor, Gil Roman, and is based on the music of avant-garde musician John Zorn. Under Roman's leadership, the dancers use various movements and gestures to let us experience Zorn's bold and free musical universe. Another work, 7 danses grecques, is based on the music of Mikis Theodorakis and reproduces the legendary choreographer Maurice Béjart's Greek dance with a refined aesthetic.
