Carlo Felice Theatre (Italian: Teatro Carlo Felice) is the most important opera house in Genoa, Italy, as well as one of the best-known theaters in Italy. Adapted from the French dramatist Sardou's play of the same title, the opera "Tosca" was written by Luigi Illic and Giuseppe Giacosa and composed by Giacomo Puccini. The opera tells a moving love tragedy that took place in Rome in 1800. Co-performed by Italy Sicilian chorus and Italy’s new Scarlatti Symphony Orchestra (NOS), it is one of the most frequently performed dramas in Italy.
