Folke Gräsbeck, a famous pianist in Finland, is one of the most authoritative performers in the performance of Sibelius' piano works. He was awarded the silver medal of Sibelius in 2014. During the period from 2007 to 2011, he issued totally 68 CDs, among which 10 are the record of the complete solo piano works of Sibelius; and there are 24 of them are precious chorus and original Piano works of Sibelius. 

Folke Gräsbeck has a unique liking for Sibelius, and has played more than more than 400 of Sibelius' 600 more works. He has successfully performed in many European countries, America, Japan, Egypt and other countries; he has also cooperated with Mariss Jansons, Aucan Kamm, Awes MoVansk and many other famous conductors. Also, the work with Denmark, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Israel, Italy, Germany, the United States, Austria, Sweden, Slovakia, Estonia, Lithuania, and Finland's professional symphony orchestras, Radio Symphony Orchestra, were all successful. 

His playing shows Sibelius' perfect melody in very strong sense of artistic style, audience can hear the deep-striking chord melody even from the young Sibelius' works. He is not only good at playing famous songs as "Finland song", "Sad Waltz" that people have heard for many times, but also often pushes his little-known works, and bring true pleasure to the audience. 

The concert will bring some music that are little-known works of classical Sibelius', and are worth listening to fans in Shanghai.
