The national dance drama-Princess Zhaojun tells a story that Zhaojun "submitted a request for going out of the frontier, spent their remaining years till death, completed the mission of making peace with rulers of minority nationalities in the border areas by marriage and promoting national harmony, for the sake of peotecting the peace in the frontier during the period of Emperor Yuan of Han. The national dance drama depicts Zhaojun's helplessness and sufferings, as well as various feelings in choices from the war to peaceful period, showing female righteous cause and courage when facing the political behavior of "making peace with rulers of minority nationalities in the border areas by marriage," so as to embody the great love emotion of Huaxia nation and family-country feelings.
