The British Avant Garde Dance comes from the famous “old place” in central London, the birthplace of contemporary British dance. In there, many theaters and groups combine dance training, creating and performing together, there has been a vibrant Dance Art Center and a creative and outstanding dance technology center for decades, with excellent professional dancers from all over the world. And the creation and performance of Fagin's Twist by British Avant Garde Dance is one of the best. 

Fagin's Twist is a contemporary dance drama to perform and appreciate Dickens' famous novel "Oliver Twist"from a new perspective. Avant Garde Dance performed in incomparable combination of the contemporary hip-hop style and showed their narrative characteristics, vividly expressed Fagin and Bates’ mysterious childhood story in the state of extreme poverty which was driven by greed and ambition, the ending is without easy redemption, and there is no perfect fairy tale, while it can give the audience a deep thought. 

Under the leadership of the art director Toni Adigun, the British Avant Garde Dance combined the narrative features with modern hip-hop, melted hip-hop and other elements of modern art performance into traditional drama environment, gave full play to its unique melting advantages and good performance, most vividly reflected Toni Adigun’s varieties of choreography style, attracted the world's best young dancers to join in the show, so that the play once again become a leading work in the new hip hop contemporary dance theatre, widely invited to perform in Europe and the United States.
