Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra is the most outstanding and renowned symphonic orchestra of the Arab world. 101 professional musicians of the whole orchestra are strictly chosen from top auditions in Europe and Arab countries. The world was amazed at its debut concert under Lorin Maazel in 2008. The Qatar Philharmonic gives over 40 concerts in music seasons and performances of arts education every year at Katara Opera House. Additionally, the Orchestra’s touring performances have included special concerts at Kennedy Center in Washington and Theatre alla Scala in Milan.
