Fairy tale musical The Wonderful Adventures of Nils jointly launched by China Shanghai International Arts Festival Center and Shanghai Culture Square, was happily held at Shanghai Culture Square on the evening of March 27th. During the performance, the audience went back to their childhood, flew to the sky with the white goose in the musical, travelled with the naughty and brave main character Nils around the world happily, and saw the world with innocent hearts. The parents, together with their children, listened to the imaginative stories and experienced the joyful musical adventure. The whole family has gone through an enjoyable and happy evening.

The Wonderful Adventures of Nils, adapted from the tale created by Swedish female writer Lagerloef Thelma, is the only tale which has won Nobel Prize in Literature during the world culture history. The director David Freeman is one of the “Ten Great Directors who have changed the British opera history”, which is awarded by the Guards.The Wonderful Adventures of Nils, jointly made by Wuhan People’s Art Theatre and British Top musical production team, is expected to be the highest international level and the most exquisite Chinese original fairy tale musical.

Before the musical, the Arts Director of Wuhan People’s Art Theatre, was seated together with the parents and children and instructing the performance. The director interacted with the parents and looked back on the childhood characterized by their age. Some children lay beside their parents, some playing with partners, fragrant and warm air flowing in the lobby of Shanghai Culture Square.

With the mysterious plots and great music, the musical began! The white goose led the parents and their children to the sky, look, the colorful world and the future. Let’s enjoy the imaginative and wonderful journey with the family!
