Having prepared for nearly half a year, every participator presented high-quality and wonderful exchange performances covering symphony, folk music, chorus and dance.

“China is worth learning, and we hope Andover can participate in the world communication on the current situation and future of secondary education. I believe this music journey and cultural communication will be of benefit to our teachers and students.” said John Palfrey, the principal of Phillips Academy Andover.

Music connects youth and future. Shanghai Datong High School and Phillips Academy Andover have made fruitful efforts in arts education and improved social humanistic attainments. During the exchange performance events, students from two schools cooperated with each other and made progress through having lessons, rehearsing and performing together.

This activity not only presents many Shanghai students’ achievements in arts education, but also promotes friendly communication on arts education and popularization. Inter-connection among students represents the world’s inter-connection, which has a found and far-reaching impact.
