Grand folk dance opera Red-crowned Crane created by Wuxi Opera &Dance Drama Company is adapted from a real story of a crane keeper and red-crowned cranes, rare animals in China. The story, depicting the heroine’s sacrifice to protect red-crowned cranes, embodies the harmonious co-existence spirit between human and the nature. The dance opera endeavors to present the beauty of original ecology. By adopting such new technology as 4D naked-eye projection imaging system, it produces a stereoscopic effect of such stage background as tidal-flat area and wet land, making the audience as if be personally on the scene.
