Concert of Deutsche Radio Philharmonie (Conductor: Christoph Poppen) Under the guide of its principal conductor, Christoph Poppen, the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie (German radio philharmonic orchestra) launches its first season in September 2007. The orchestra is the first to be formed through the fusion of two radio orchestras, and thus continues the traditions of two well-established institutions, the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Saarbrcken (run by the SR, the Saarland broadcasting corporation) and the Rundfunkorchester Kaiserslautern (under the auspices of the south-west German SWR broadcasting corporation). The new orchestra will be based in Saarbrcken and Kaiserslautern. As a young orchestra, innovation and contemporary works are its strengths. And the principal conductor Christoph Poppen has established a reputation for his innovative programming and his commitment to contemporary music.

Professor Shengqi He is professor of Shanghai Conservatory of Music. He gains the fame for his marvelous flute skills and beautiful tune on the international music stage of Italy, Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Switzerland, Yugoslavia, etc.

Xiaoming Han, a universally accepted first-class French horn master, is the chief French horn of German Saar Staat radio symphony orchestra, permanent French horn professor of Saar Staat Music Institute, visiting professor of the Central Conservatory of Music and Shanghai Conservatory of Music, visiting chief French horn player of Munich National Opera House, as well as those of Berlin, Cologne, Homburg, Bonn, Dusseldorf opera houses in Germany. Cooperated with world famous conductors such as Seiji Ozawa, Bernstein, Solti, Marcel, the generally acknowledged first-class horn master has been conferred on the permanent professorship by Swiss Basle and German Saarbrcken Musikhochschuler as well.
